2-PERSON SCRAMBLE MATCH PLAY — FRIDAY

Both players tee off. The team selects the preferred shot, and both players play their next shot from that position. Continue this process until the ball is holed.

• Place the ball within one club length of the selected shot, no closer to the hole.
• The ball must remain in the same playing condition—fairway, rough, bunker, etc.
• On the green, place the ball within one putter-head length, no closer to the hole.

Scramble Handicap

Team Handicap = 35% of the lower handicap + 15% of the higher handicap.

The team with the lower handicap plays from zero. The opposing team receives the difference, with strokes applied according to the course’s handicap rankings.

FOUR-BALL MATCH PLAY — SATURDAY

Each golfer plays their own ball throughout the hole. The lower net score between the two partners becomes the team’s score for that hole.

The lowest-handicap player in each match plays from zero. The other players receive the full difference between their course handicap and the lowest player’s handicap. Strokes are applied according to the scorecard’s handicap rankings.

SINGLES MATCH PLAY — SUNDAY

Each golfer plays one opponent in an individual match. The lower net score wins the hole. A tied hole is halved.

The lower-handicap player plays from zero. The opponent receives the difference between their course handicaps, with strokes applied according to the scorecard’s handicap rankings.

A match ends when one player or team leads by more holes than remain. Players may concede a stroke, hole or match. A concession cannot be refused or withdrawn.

TOURNAMENT SCORING

• Four Scramble matches: 4 points
• Four Four-Ball matches: 4 points
• Eight Singles matches: 8 points
• Total available: 16 points

Each match is worth one point. A tied match earns each team ½ point. The first team to reach 8½ points wins the Bremer Cup.

If the tournament finishes 8–8:
